Brown Pelicans swooped overhead and I spotted two Ospreys nesting on top of a light pole across the street. Oblivious to its human surroundings, the egret was carefully picking its way down the grass between the hotels and the sand. Given that their “I do’s” were not until 6:30 p.m. The beach was covered in seabirds. Great Egret.
