I've written about my ambivalence regarding "pet" ownership/guardianship/insert-whatever-term-you're-comfortable-with, and also about my strong belief in helping individuals, but I don't recall addressing whether the having of pets is not vegan. Do you agree with that?

Not only do they try to find these pets forever homes, but they provide loving care for those who aren’t adoptable. Most recently they had their special event honoring pets who have passed. The blessing takes place in a special area of the sanctuary called Angel’s Rest. Could they have your next best friend?
