These chimps are currently at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s New Iberia Research Center. This is the same place that was nailed by a Humane Society undercover investigation. The Humane Society wants 9 chimps that are not being "used" as part of experiments to be released to a sanctuary.

This has been a very difficult decision for me, because I have such good friends in the group. I thought I could stay with the group because she does give me fodder for the blog. Then I read more about what's happening at the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana. And like I said, I love the other people in it.
