In front of us, in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve one wild Grey Junglefowl runs across the road. For you and me, there are about 200 bird species, but for proper tourists, there seem to be only five species in the reserve: Bengal Tiger , Leopard , Sloth Bear , Indian Wild Dog (Dhole) and the Gaur. February 2013. And we are in it.

I refuse to believe we got an ORANGE CAT (Tiger) before a green animal, like what? No way we got a Giraffe before a green animal. Are you telling me Orange is better suited than green!?? What's going on? What are they hiding? Is there already a green animal - but because its green we have not discovered it yet? What's going on?

This is also why you very rarely find a photo of a giraffe on top of one of these posts – the other reason of course being that a giraffe photo would be relatively pointless in a birding blog. In Singapore, a Tiger Shrike was observed casting a pellet after eating a large scarab beetle.

With as many as 540 individuals in the wild the Amur Tiger ( Panthera tigris altaica ) is also listed as Endangered, being hunted for not only their fur but body parts as well. Why would any human being think that killing a Giraffe ( Giraffa ) is a good idea? They are listed as Vulnerable (VU) on the IUCN red list.
