Feral Muscovy Ducks seem to attract many of those epithets. Not only are the individual ducks hard to look at, but in groups, the feral populations create the same messes other masses of waterfowl do. For example, I had to be in Nashville (Tennessee) for a conference. I got myself 4 lifers ( Least Flycatcher , Eastern Bluebird , Field Sparrow, and Indigo Bunting ) before a downpour ended the excursion. Come to think of it, quite audacious to set myself a non-line dancing target for Nashville. Don’t rush home.
