When I looked at lists of birds allowed for falconry in Minnesota years ago, I asked some of my falconer friends, “Really, owls?” When you see a falconer transporting their bird or walking with a group, the bird might be in a dark crate or hooded. It was eventually read and turns out the bird was a released falconry bird.
