Today, I saw a handful of Mallards , two Common Mergansers, and a Wood Duck Family. For those of you following along on my “ Little Big Year” the numbers are as follows: Little Big Year species – 814. USA species – 111. Australia species – 242. Mexico species – 148.

Week 20: Doha, and on to Scotland!

Well, for us, we went to Doha, Qatar. In the end, I ended up with 9 species, 4 of which were new to the list, the Black-crowned Sparrow Lark, White-checked Bulbo, House Crow , and the Indian Silverbill. We have been dragging him thru every bird spot possible, so he could go to Scotland to see where his family is from.
