On "EATING ANIMALS" by Jonathan Safran Foer

He always refers to himself and his wife and his child as "vegetarian." But why does he say "vegetarian?" That bothers me, as there's a significant difference in motivation for vegans and vegetarians and he sounds like one, yet calls himself the other. He is against it for himself and his family. This is very silly.

In his fresh and candid first post (available here ), Jonathan admitted that he is struggling with the issue of ethical vegetarianism. You don't find many hunters who candidly and unapologetically say: "I hunt because I like to kill. Hunting wouldn't be the "noble," "manly" "sport" that it is, if these were the reasons for doing it.
