I managed to get some video of this greedy thrasher before a family walked down the path, and you can view it here. My goal was Lucifer Hummingbird , but I didn’t do enough research to know that the best time to see the hummingbird is in the early evening. Now, years later, it was time to return. I was the only birder there!

We have escaped the clutches of the Bahamas, and are finally back “home” in Tucson, Texas. Despite their every effort to accumulate every bit of money that was in my wallet, and available on my credit card, this island group totaling more than 700 islands does have some nice birds. The Little Big Year species – 1291.
