All of the former animal farmers come to the same conclusion: that what they were doing wasn't right. My experiences are unlike any of the film's subjects. I didn't have to do the slaughtering to know what it feels like to have participated in something for a good chunk of my life that wasn't right. For all of us.

Beloved family pet Dalmatian, Pepper, is stolen, and after several weeks of searching is discovered to have been experimented on at a hospital and died on the table when researchers tried to implant her with an experimental cardiac pacemaker. By the end of my time as researcher, I was performing behavioral experiments on humans.

All animals except the dog are called "it" (I did a little experiment to see what would happen). We do that with cats and dogs already, right?
