Experience shows that bird parents do feed babies in makeshift nests reattached to tree branches, bushes, gutters, and even tree cavity sections duct taped to another tree. Mites will eventually kill the bird. Call and transport the bird to a bird rehabber ASAP. After all, “Mother knows best.” Baby bird with lots of mites.
