This did open up the area to a few new species, like this Wilson’s Warbler. Along the irrigation canal, there were over a dozen species flying around. Here is one of those Downy Woodpeckers. The second morning, the winds were up, and the balloon event was called off, so Jeanne joined me in the refuge.
