Kelly wondered whether the term "vegan" is " worth fighting for " given the latest trend of seemingly oxymoronish (waiting for that one to hit Webster's) terminology from the mouths of people who want to find a way to use animals, yet make it appear that they're not. Is vegan a diet ? I'd rather trap a feral cat and have her spayed.

When taking the issue to simplest common denominator, spaying/neutering is essentially exercising human dominance over non-human animals. But my stance is also categorized under Gray Matters because, in my perfect world, we wouldn't be spaying or neutering anybody. Hence, it's a Gray Matter.) And this is one of them.

From the feral cats of Project Treadstone to Charles' back surgery to problems with Violet's Vetsulin (insulin for dogs), we had more than our share of issues. Both of those events required the dreaded "cone. I have some left but wanted to save it in the event that the transition didn't work and I needed to buy some time.
