Large groups of Hooded Merganser , Redhead , Franklin’s Gull , and other floaters were easily spotted. We returned home for a good dinner with friends, some wine and a night dreaming of raspberry coulis, puppies and ducks. Coming down from the emotional high we noticed our grumbling stomachs: time to eat. And now I did.
