Virgin Islands. I haven’t even been to all of the best national wildlife refuges for birding. My current criteria for a dedicated birding trip are having a good probability of seeing several new birds or seeing a birding spectacle ( e.g. , Red Knots and other shorebirds feasting on horseshoe crab eggs in Delaware Bay).
