The long and winding road
10,000 Birds
SEPTEMBER 15, 2014
This tiny passerine winters in Africa, places like Tanzania, Nigeria, Somalia. In my experience here, the Wheatear arrive at the end of May to early June and quickly establish territories. Anywhere from 3-8 very pale blue eggs are laid, incubated by both parents. From the Tundra to the African Steppes.
