The associated bird species seek out drongos, apparently relying upon them heavily for protection. The species is classified as Near Threatened for all the usual depressing reasons – pollution, drainage, hunting, and the collection of eggs and nestlings ( source ). My cats refuse to even try Fiery Minivets.
