In 2008, over nine billion chickens were slaughtered for Americans to eat. When we eat eggs we eat chicken eggs almost exclusively. It is time for the Florida Ornithological Society to allow for the counting of Feral Chickens. You see, the chickens are being shortchanged. Americans love chicken.
