The crest of the Long-Crested Eagle looks a bit exaggerated to me – like some retro-punk wearing a mohawk decades after 1977. I was vaguely curious about the family name mousebird. One being that the name is based on the bird’s soft feathers with a texture similar to a mouse’s fur.
