Sea lion mothers wail when watching their babies being eaten by killer whales. If she’d been left alone, she would have fallen prey to a lion or other predator. An animal control officer said it was clear the dog was trying to defend the woman, whom he didn’t know. Is this moral? Heinrich seems to think it is.
