Take an example, Tembe Elephant Park in South Africa. And culls of Nyala have been proposed. If tourists are too dim to tell Sierra Leone from Botswana or Tanzania, do we really want to rely on them to save Africa’s species? We can’t afford just to let nature be nature any more.
