He's more human and sensitive on the show. But, according to my husband, the guy hates vegetarians and won't allow his daughter to marry one. When I watch Top Chef, these people can hardly make a chocolate cake without throwing some lamb in there. Tags: cooking food. And he has such a sense and love of food.

Keith: As a historian or even an anthropologist, one could make the argument that being a vegetarian limits one's ability to understand other cultures. I, like you, am not a complete vegetarian. When I do cook it (which is maybe once every two weeks), I try to be a responsible as possible. And why limit it to food?
