Many animals also display wide-ranging emotions, including joy, happiness, empathy, compassion, grief, and even resentment and embarrassment. Chimpanzees and elephants grieve the loss of family and friends, and gorillas hold wakes for the dead. They get much of their food using tools, and they do this better than chimpanzees.

Itcher birds, migratory members of the tern family. It turns out that humans without compasses make no use of magnetic fields.) The idea was to see if those without magnets taped to their heads got less lost then those with the magnets. People were doing things like that with birds, sharks, and humans.
