And the absurdity is in the reality that the author and the featured person who kills sentient nonhumans for a living, think they're onto something. And though being hauled to their death on a bulldozer is terrible, any other form of slaughter at the hands of another, on that other's timeline and terms, is nevertheless slaughter.

Here's my concern: Though I think the game is disgusting and cruel, it sort of pales in comparison to what comes next for the lobsters. If they want what's best for lobsters, they should be advocating for not killing and eating them at any restaurant (and then I guess the question becomes: why stop at lobsters).

The interests in nourishment and in gustatory pleasure lead man to kill and eat cattle, fish, and fowl. An accurate quantitative comparison of the value he gains with that which the lamb loses is really impossible. That is, they contribute to increasing, in the long run, the quantity of satisfaction which an individual experiences.
