I foresee a day, perhaps not far in the future, in which it is illegal to raise cows, pigs, and other animals for food. Force, coercion, and manipulation, by comparison, are inferior on each score. Some will reduce their consumption of meat for the sake of the animals. Others will do so for the sake of the environment.
