There go my plans for a 10,000 Birds write-in campaign. Dale Forbes wrote that there are Only 5 pairs Gurney’s Pitta left in Thailand last June. (At the current time, information on pricing is not available.) Pittas, a bird species I never heard of before reading this book, are cropping up more and more in the online birding world.
