Luckily, in one of the most unforgettable birding experiences of my life, at Curi-Cancha, I shared wonderful scoped looks of a male bellbird with old and new friends and birding mentors from Buffalo, NY. Lovely Cotinga – Once again, the continuing male at Rancho Naturalista was shared with the same group from Buffalo.

Travel onto the world famous Kaziranga National Park and you will have very good chances of more endangered species such as Pallas’s Fish Eagle , vultures, Swamp Francolin , and both species of Adjutant Storks. Commoner species include Bar-headed Geese , parakeets, shrikes, mynas and minivets.

It also includes one of the world’s largest known populations of hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) (18,200) and buffalo (Syncerus caffer) (204,015). It also protects hundreds of species of birds and mammals, and thousands of plants, and everything else you need in a functional ecosystem. You do a lot of good.
