Vet bills are covered by the rescue. Transporters , again as it says on the tin! Move animals from pound to rescue/rescue to foster home/vets etc. especially before you breed. We help recruit: Fosterers who look after the animals till they get their forever home. We also help find forever homes for these animals.

They do wonderful work finding homes for this special breed. If you aren’t familiar with the breed, most of the “Ugliest Dogs in the World&# have been hairless Chinese Cresteds. We provide vetting, transportation, and foster homes for each dog in need, until he or she can be carefully matched to an approved home.

Basically, hornbills get paid by evolution to eat fruit, digest the fleshy parts, and regurgitate or defecate the rest – a means of seed transportation that is apparently quite attractive to many plants despite the yuck factor involved. One paper describes them breeding in a human settlement in abandoned clay jars.
