Breeding, Humane, Livestock and Rats

I want to trap a mouse that lives in my house and keep it as a pet. Otherwise it takes its chances out in the field. What do you all think?

My dog is a livestock guardian breed so when she saw the mouse I just said to leave it and now it walks right past her too she ignores it like the spiders, I made sure she was well trained. He stops when I turn on the light then keeps moving if I put the TV on. I've talked to him and I swear he looked right at me.

Before you answer, here are some details to inform your decision: The first "knockout animals" were laboratory rats, whose anterior cingulate cortex have been damaged/blocked so that though they might still feel pain, they do not find it unpleasant. In other words, the perception of pain is affected. What about being torn from your family?
