I enjoy falconry, it’s not merely a sport or hobby, it is a lifestyle. Turns out the founder of TRC and many the vets who worked in clinic were falconers as well. Many get their birds from breeders. I think what bothered me most was that I knew how angry birders get about owls and that this would be bad PR for falconry.
