Last Sunday Grant was able to leave work in the afternoon and I had researched options of places we could get to within one hour of the city of Melbourne using public transport that would offer us some birding opportunities. It is incredible how easily a Crimson Rosella can blend into the tall trees despite its red and blue colouring.
