At five-forty-five Sunday morning I started the eBird checklist while perched atop the Battery Harris Platform at Fort Tilden. Using this trick we added Field Sparrow (new to the list!) and Lincoln’s Sparrow. We also saw lots of dolphins in the ocean and Humpback Whale blow.
