A pair Bald Eagles were doing fly-bys over our heads , and there were Belted Kingfishers, Canada Geese , A pair of Mallards, and three Great Blue Herons. This is also the location of the great Pig War of 1872. They were joined by several Barn Swallows , which tended to fly much closer to the water.
