Germain has lived in East Asia since 2014. For the Chinese New Year 2022 holidays, my girlfriend and I decided to visit the remote areas of Guangxi in the South of China, at the border to Vietnam. We jumped into our rented SUV Jeep Compass for a trip of 6 days. At that time, China was strictly applying the zero COVID-19 policy.
