On March 19, 2009 a company representative emailed Compassion Over Killing: "…I am pleased to let you know the BOCA brand will be eliminating eggs in all of its products by the end of this year. We anticipate all BOCA products will be egg free in 2010." They are striking a blow against the cruel egg industry.

Good news following an investigation of farm animal abuses by Mercy for Animals. Sometime soon, David Radlo of Radlo Foods says his sign in front of the former DeCoster Egg Farm will be coming down and all his business at the massive egg operation in Turner will come to an end. Be warned, it's hard to watch.

I am a firm supporter of reforming factory egg farming. And I'm willing to pay for more expensive eggs if it allows for that. Organic eggs are more expensive than the standard egg carton. Tags: proposition 2 eggs factory farm food chickens. Not everyone has that luxury.
