Some of these discussions make me think: Boy, that Rick Berman, that FBI, those people who spend their lives using and killing animals for fun and profit--don't need to do much to bring this movement down because we're doing it ourselves. I think that a handful of years ago it was fun to use a different moniker (Animal Person, anyone?),

Many vegans and animal rights activists "have a book in them" but soon discover, despite their well-crafted book proposal and sample chapters, that most mainstream publishers aren't interested. Tags: Books Current Affairs Economics. Cost prohibitive in a major way and I'm not sure what I was thinking.

I have an unusual number of e-mails from individuals who have written, are writing, or would like to write a book about animals and asked about various steps in the publishing process. How successful they are at creating new vegans or animal rights advocates depends on many factors. . I hope some of that helps.
