Animal agriculture is inherently inhumane. My doctor says my tremendous health and strength are due to my being a vegan. April 9, 2009 The writer is president of United Poultry Concerns, an advocacy group. Would we say these people were slaughtered in a “people friendly” manner? Every meal, for me, is a celebration of life.
