The capital is San Juan, an important center of Caribbean culture and transportation. And one can go birding on federal lands ( e.g., Cabo Rojo NWR ) and see ESA-listed endemic birds ( e.g., Yellow-shouldered Blackbird ), but not be in the ABA Area.
