Wild chickens in Hawaii would come up to me at the beach but avoid everyone else on the entire beach. I thought that animals were just friendly and not scared of us humans but I'm a unique case I've come to find out. Animals take a wide berth of others even when they're ahead of my by themselves.

The Cattle Egret Expansion

When you think of invasives, you think of the birds that have been helped by human beings to get where they are, such as House Sparrow or European Starling. Cattle Egret has been introduced by humans to Hawaii and the Seychelles. Other species have certainly expanded their ranges, but never in such a rapid and global scale.
