At five-forty-five Sunday morning I started the eBird checklist while perched atop the Battery Harris Platform at Fort Tilden. We also saw lots of dolphins in the ocean and Humpback Whale blow. Then Matthieu pointed out the Brown Pelican flying by over the ocean and all hell broke loose! Our eBird checklist for the day is here.
