March 1st, 2018 is a day that will just be wiped from the face of my calendar. We were picked up at the Christchurch airport by our family friend, Neville Blampied, who as it turns out, is an amazing local bird guide, disguising himself as a Professor of Psychology at the University of Canterbury.
