Why Did The National Audubon Society End Their Contract With Ted Williams?

Ted not only did not call on anyone to poison cats but he pointed out that Tylenol is not registered for use in killing cats. Pretty standard. And why would the National Audubon Society cave so quickly to an organization completely at odds with its conservation mission? That is pathetic.
