The shame would kill them. The Scaly Laughingthrush (Baihualing, Yunnan) once finished as runner-up at a birds-that-look-like-reptiles contest that was won by a Scaly Thrush (not shown). In retrospect, I bet they kept White-crested Laughingthrushes as pets (Hongbenghe, Yunnan). Paul, I think we are soulmates.
