Gregory is the president and CEO of UEP, an industry trade group. Throughout UEP’s annual meeting speakers cautioned that Prop 2’s passage would be a major blow to the industry. In July, the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA)’s board of directors voted 9-4 to endorse Prop 2.
