When I looked at lists of birds allowed for falconry in Minnesota years ago, I asked some of my falconer friends, “Really, owls?” I enjoy falconry, it’s not merely a sport or hobby, it is a lifestyle. Snowy Owls are used in falconry, more so in Europe but they are legal for a few states here in the US.
