It seems like the answer to most questions/responses to most issues is one of these: Speciesism. Yes, it is hypocritical (speciesism), but who said that we either protect humans or animals? Tags: Activism Current Affairs Economics Ethics Food and Drink. Where do people get that idea? Let's just say the ban was meaningful.

There's a vague sense that perhaps he cares about the dogs or thinks that what he does to them might present an ethical dilemma, but the overwhelming feeling is that it's all worth it. But there is a significant contingent who is not as enamored with the Laboratory Animal Welfare Act as he is. It "guarantees humane treatment?"
