When taking the issue to simplest common denominator, spaying/neutering is essentially exercising human dominance over non-human animals. They will spay/neuter, vaccinate, tip ears and microchip , and they do not test. Sure, it takes an hour to get there and I have no idea how I'm going to get 10 cats in my car or even trap 10 cats, but I'm still enjoying the honeymoon phase of the concept and reveling in some kind of victory I had nothing to do with.

I'd rather trap a feral cat and have her spayed. Tags: Activism Current Affairs Ethics Language. Maybe sugar processed with bone char isn't worth boycotting a restaurant over. Maybe it is. Arguing about that line with other vegans, though, doesn't interest me.
