It should cover all of the obvious topics, such as selecting binoculars, how to look at a bird, how to use a field guide, where to go birding, birding ethics, birding terminology, birding books, eBird, etc. Birders care about bird science and conservation, but also about access to birding sites and facilities as those locations, etc.
