Abby, I too get very upset by stories and images of what occurs every second of every day to nonhumans and humans alike. I choose not to watch videos or bombard myself with images of suffering. When a new video is released on YouTube of abuse at a slaughterhouse (as if it's not all abuse, by the way), I don't watch.
