On my first visit to the island a few years ago I even found one hunting for sandhoppers and other assorted treats in the washed up seaweed on the beach. Duncan Mar 10th, 2011 at 3:01 am I know from experience that Saddlebacks are tricky little guys to catch. Saddleback ( Philesturnus carunculatus ) on the beach. Thanks for visiting!
